# Safe Passage Transportation

## Getting to treatment, and home again, safely

Safe Passage is travel with a trained, sober companion for someone going into treatment or coming home from it. The trip itself is one of the riskiest moments in recovery: a long drive or a layover is a lot of time alone with second thoughts. A companion lowers that risk, handles whatever comes up, and gives the family peace of mind.

We look at each situation to decide how much support the trip needs. Often, a companion is the difference between arriving and not.

## How it works

We plan the trip with the client, the family, and the treatment program. We match each client with a companion suited to them, including same-gender matching where that matters, and you can review the companion's profile before travel.

The aim is a calm, supported trip, whether that is into treatment or back home to start continuing care.
