There are times when support has to be in the room. A companion is a steady, reliable presence through daily routines, important events, and moves from one setting to another, so each step is supported rather than survived.

What a companion does

• Is present through the day, for as long as needed
• Helps keep routine and structure
• Goes along to appointments, meetings, and events
• Supports safe moves between home, treatment, and travel
• Encourages accountability and good decisions

Companions can be arranged for a few days or for the longer term.

Our companions are experienced with people who value privacy. They understand the pressures of demanding lives and work in a way that fits the client's world rather than disrupting it.

What is a recovery companion?

Is a companion the same as a therapist?
